Registration for School Year 2020 – 2021 Now Open!
Our school, founded in 1935, will be moving into our newly renovated space in Waldwick, NJ for the 2020-2021 school year. In honor of our move to Waldwick we will be changing our name to RNS Academy. Program curriculum, structure and staff, will not change. We remain a private early education center & Kindergarten; staffed by dedicated, professionally trained and certified teachers licensed by the State of New Jersey. Our new facility, located at 157 Franklin Turnpike, will continue to offer families and their children a warm and caring environment.
Our curriculum boasts a wide variety of activities that encourage age appropriate academic learning while nurturing children’s innate curiosity and laying a foundation for lifelong learning. As children construct, imagine, experiment, share and socialize with other children and adults around them, they are developing the skills needed to become independent, intellectually and socially competent individuals. Our school believes that teachers, children, and parents all play important roles in the educational process, and that a balance of socialization and age appropriate academics is the key to laying the foundation for a child’s academic success.
RNS is open from 7:00AM – 6:00PM with a range of flexible schedule options.
Our accredited kindergarten program follows an academic curriculum designed with the NJ Learning standards.
Encouraging and promoting the desire to learn is a natural gift of childhood, it is the keystone of achieving academic excellence, confidence, and creative problem solving skills. The use of music, rhythm and participation in our annual school play helps children experience a rich sensory environment. Socialization combined with learning is the goal at RNS.
Our large classrooms are bright, secure and equipped with a wide variety of materials and art supplies. Our outdoor area includes a custom designed play ground.
